Astronomer (IAR)

FutureTech has strong partnership relations with NASA, and Goddard Space Flight Center. You will report to the Space University Academy, which will offer you a rigorous, immersive experience that will challenge you. As a participant in this unique opportunity, you will have an intense learning experience that will be space or aeronautics based. All academy interns will be immersed in a NASA environment where they will experience the agency from both inside and outside perspectives.

maria_bigAstronomers think big!  They want to understand the entire universe—the nature of the Sun, Moon, planets, stars, galaxies, and everything in between. An astronomer's work can be pure science—gathering and analyzing data from instruments and creating theories about the nature of cosmic objects—or the work can be applied to practical problems in space flight and navigation, or satellite communications.

As the Assistant to the Astronomer, Kimo Kalani, you will also assist the space exploration team with analyzing data, operating  telescopes, and using your science and math knowledge.

Kimo is ready for you to dive into Task #1.
