New York State CareerZone - www.careerzone.ny.gov

The NYS CareerZone's website sponsored by the Department of Labor is used throughout NY State in many of the K-12 schools and colleges.

CareerZone is used for basic career exploration activities, including assessments, exploration and links to colleges and training opportunities in New York State.

 

 

ONET

O*NET - www.onetonline.org

O*NET is an in-depth tool used for career exploration and job analysis.   The United States Government sponsors the Occupational Network site.

O*NET Online has detailed descriptions of the world of work for use by job seekers, workforce development and human resources professionals, students, researchers, and more. Every job title has been classified by the Dr. John Holland codes.

US Military - ASVAB Career Exploration Program - www.asvabprogram.com

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Career Exploration Program is a career planning and exploration program that combines a multiple-aptitude test with an interest self-assessment and a wide range of career exploration tools.  Before taking the ASVAB, a candidate may explore his/her interests in military careers.
